Project Phases

The Lincoln County SS4A Action Plan is organized into four phases running from June 2025 through May 2026. Each phase builds on the last, moving from understanding today's safety challenges all the way to a finished, adopted Action Plan.

Phase 1

JUNE - AUGUST

Kick-Off & Assessment

  • Project team assembled

  • Stakeholder coordination begins

  • Existing plans & data reviewed

  • Study area finalized

  • Public Involvement Plan finalized

Phase 2

AUGUST - OCTOBER

Safety Assessment

  • Crash data collected & analyzed

  • High Injury Network identified

  • Field reviews conducted

  • Policy & process assessment

  • Public Meeting #1 ~October

Phase 3

OCTOBER - MARCH

Action Plan Development

  • Safety strategies identified

  • Projects prioritized

  • Cost estimates developed

  • Draft plan prepared

  • Public Meeting #2 ~January

Phase 4

MARCH - MAY

Finalize Action Plan

  • Draft plan released for review

  • Comments incorporated

  • Final plan adopted by County

  • Implementation and track set up

  • Public Meeting #3 ~ April
